What the content is

Editorial comparison of quilting and embroidery machines, built from specifications published by manufacturers on their own websites, normalized into consistent units and cited to the page each figure was read from.

It is opinion and analysis for the purpose of helping you choose a machine. It is not professional advice, and it is not a substitute for checking a specification with the manufacturer or dealer before you spend money.

What the content is not

• Not test results. We have not tested any machine described on this site and we say so throughout. Our scores are editorial judgments built from published specifications, per the methodology page.
• Not manufacturer information. We compile and normalize figures from third-party pages. Manufacturers are not involved in, and do not review, anything here.
• Not a price list. Prices shown are from a live data layer and carry the date they were verified. They change constantly and we make no promise about any price at any moment.
• Not a shop. We do not sell machines, hold stock, take orders or handle returns.

Accuracy, and its limits

Every specification here was read from its cited source on a stated date, and we re-check the reference tables monthly. That is genuine effort and it is not a guarantee.

Manufacturers change specifications, correct their own errors, revise models and take pages down. Where a manufacturer publishes contradictory figures - Brother’s NQ1600E page gives two different design counts - we record the contradiction rather than resolving it for them.

Verify any specification that matters to your purchase directly with the manufacturer or dealer before you buy. If you find a figure here that does not match its source, tell us - we correct those with a dated note.

Manufacturer names, model names and trade marks belong to their owners and appear here for identification only. Nothing on this site implies any endorsement by, or affiliation with, any manufacturer.

This site is provided as-is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss arising from reliance on the content, including a purchase decision made on the basis of a specification that turns out to be inaccurate or out of date.

These machines are equipment. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for installation, operation and maintenance, not ours.
